Camping Easter Weekend out west by Simpson Springs

Carson
Jeff says, "Wendy come watch your sons". So I did and this is what I found. Maniacs!
Holy Crap!
Carter
Carter
Dad has to get in on the action...
A butterfly that was caught in Carson's helmet.
flying kites
Ammon doing great at flying his kite!
Flying kites are such hard work!
Nathan getting in on flying a kite!

So I got my work out just chasing down the kites that they let go of!

I think Nate looks so cute in this pic. This is the only time I will allow mismatched clothes and snow boots in spring!

Ammon riding his bike and doing great! When we got home Jeff took off his training wheels and off he went. No problem!

Carson
I just found Carson playing with the umbrella and I love this pic.
It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring....

We had another great camping experience. The kids just love camping! It did rain a little and was chilly, cold, warm, windy and great on and off the whole weekend! I am so happy to have a trailer to run to for warmth and comfort...yeah! Jeff also turned the 4 wheeler trailer, aka: "boy box", into the kid's movie theater with a heater for warmth, bean bags for comfort, popcorn for the munchies, and a movie for entertainment, whoo hoo! Thanks to Daren and his "Man Cave" for the cooking trailer of all trailers...loved the yummy food! We flew kites, rode and rode and rode, watched movies, sat by the fire (almost in the fire, Carson! so close...tooo scary) played soccer, played with tractors and just had a great time!

Coloring Easter Eggs!

Jessica hiding the "Pink" coloring all to herself!

Daren always the life of the party!

Carter still has hives... poor kid doped up on Benedryl for 5 days!

So we headed out camping for Easter weekend again this year and it was a BLAST! We colored eggs on Friday before the Jensen's and Matua's had to go home and as always the kids loved it. I have to say no spills this year! I think the kids are getting the hang of it!

Carson's 1st grade program: A trip around the World!

getting ready to start
dancing and singing in a drum circle
singing with sign language (He is concentrating very hard!)
So long, farewell, bye, bye!
My little drummer boy!
His drum/shaker he made (poor chapped lips...ouch!)

Carson did a GREAT job in his program. He was a little drummer boy and we loved watching him sing and dance. He is such a wonderful boy and so fun. We love him soooo much! AWESOME CARSON...:)

A verry bad case of hives...poor kid!

This was on Thursday it spread to his whole head and face.

I picked Carter up from school on Wednesday and he lifted his pant leg and said he itches really bad. He had bumps all over his legs so when we got home I lifted up his shirt and sure enough this is what I found. I called the Dr. and we rushed over there and did a car visit(I think every doctor visit should be this way!). The doctor came out to the car and assessed him and said it was hives. He was very hyper sensitive to something. We still aren't sure what it was, but the only thing I did change was the laundry detergent on Monday. So I think that was it. We did have to get steroids on Saturday, but they are gone now. Poor kid!

Sr. Yellow and Sr. Green

Great Job Boys! They both earned their new belts and are doing awesome!

Pinewood Derby

Jeff- his 1st pinewood derby as a dad...hehe!
"Heavy Weight" award!
1st place by a mile....then the leader dropped his truck...dang it!
brothers engrossed in the racing
picking up the cars after the race
Carter's 1st pinewood derby(or should I say Jeff's!) So Carter got his kit then we did not see it anymore, Jeff swiped it and took it to work. He says Carter designed it and helped sand...hmmm didn't see that happen! I do think Carter helped a little with the black paint and he put the dinosaur stickers on...great job! It was a very cool "DINO MITE" truck! Great job boys! He had a lot of fun he got 6 place... after the girl had dropped his truck!
